Smock tape draws the fabric into a lattice of small diamonds across a 75mm band, giving the heading a hand-worked, decorative quality that no other tape produces. It is the most fabric-hungry heading in the range and rewards lighter, softer cloth, where the smocking relaxes into the drop instead of sitting stiff.
